    Tropical Reef Diver

    7 days, 7 dives, Age 15+

Yellow SnappersThe Aqualogy Tropical Reef Diver Course is a 7-day introductory course to Marine Science. This course is aimed at certified divers who want to learn about the underwater world they enjoy, whilst diving.
Diving is much more rewarding and fun once you start to understand the things you observe underwater and begin to find out the meaning behind some of your own interactions with marine animals.

If you’re not a diver yet, but you’re interested in marine biology and want to participate in one of our programs, - no problem! Arrive a few days early and you can be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver in just 3-4 days.

    What will I learn?

Yellow SnappersThe Tropical Reef Diver Course provides an academic grounding in four main areas of Marine Science. You’ll receive an introduction to Oceanography, Zoology, Fish Ecology and Marine Habitats

In-water activities are encouraged to further cement your learning. You’ll participate in experiments and excursions for each scientific area, to gain hands-on experience and real-life knowledge. We’ll take you to some of the best dive-sites in Thailand, where you’ll observe and interact with a huge variety of marine species.

The course includes a Scuba Review to refresh your buoyancy skills, and 5 dives to some of the most interesting and diverse dive-sites in Thailand.
