Recently a friend and I decided to strap on a couple of tanks and dive the house reef at Kantiang Bay on the south west of Ko Lanta. We geared up and swam out from the beach about 100 yards sticking to the North Western coastline. (more…)

It was my second dive on the House Reef at Kan Tiang Bay and I was on a mission to spot a robust ghost pipefish in the muck of the bay. We set off at 11.30 am and blessed with the high tide we managed to swim easily all the way around the right hand corner and descended new the rocky outcrop right underneath Top View Resort. We spotted so many different species of nudibranchs (all of them I have never seen before), so we were really pleased with the dive. (more…)

The main objective of Go ECO is for dive centres to minimise their impact on the aquatic ecosystem whilst contributing to environmental, economic and cultural conservation. Dive centres are required to meet best practice environmental guidelines and commit to the Project AWARE Go ECO philosophy. (more…)
