About Aqualogy
Aqualogy Marine Education Centre is based in the South of Ko Lanta island in Thailand. Founded as a joint project between SCUBAFISH and Aqualogy’s Marine Scientists, Aqualogy provides a variety of courses and marine education for divers on holiday, and is also a base for coral reef research and reef monitoring projects. We work with ReefCheck to supply research and data to contribute to the Global Reef Monitoring Project.
Having dived in and around the Andaman Sea for many years we have built up a good knowledge of Lanta’s marine life and dive sites. To understand and protect the beauty of the local reefs, we are actively involved in, and oversee various research projects.
To share our enthusiasm and knowledge about the fascinating underwater world of coral and aquatic life with other people, we have designed Reef Education courses and projects for divers and snorkellers on holiday.
Experience some of the best diving in the world at Lanta’s Dive Sites, combined with hands-on education in ocean science with some of our dive courses in Thailand.
Diving is more fun when you’re equipped with advanced knowledge about marine life, because you understand more about the complex organisms you observe.
Located on Ko Lanta Island in Southern Thailand, our marine education and reef ecology centre is just a few steps away from the Andaman Sea.
As this is one of the most diverse areas of aquatic life on our planet, it is the perfect place to participate in hands-on marine biology research and truly appreciate the wealth of fish and plant life that can be seen whilst diving in these waters.
